Our Story

In the summer of 2020, amid the chaos of Covid19 shut-downs, Monarch Designs was birthed. The product of a single mother desperately trying to support her two children with the creative and business skills she'd build over the last 35 years. Starting in her garage with a single head Ricoma embroidery machine, Christine started reaching out to small businesses in the area. Mechanics, plumbers, electricians and other "essential" trades who were allowed to work during the shut-downs. Although she started the business with no formal knowledge about the embroidery industry, Christine built her business on hard work, no minimums, quick turnarounds and, above all, exceptional customer service. Those first few years she worked long hours in her garage, sometimes assisted by her two pre-teen children. Quality and integrity won the day and five years later Monarch Designs is a thriving family run, women owned, certified small business is proud to be able to provide our services to business of any size. We enjoy the prosperity of working with medium and large corporations while still loyally serving the small businesses and solo-prenuers who stood by us in the beginning.
